Daring Girls partners locally to ensure that girls have the knowledge, tools, mentorship, and support to confidently design their own futures.

Every girl should have the skills, confidence, and savvy to become who she wants to be.

Building on more than a decade of designing, localizing, and supporting mentoring programs with our flagship partner in Tanzania, Daring Girls supports UNESCO Award Winning girls’ mentoring programming designed to help girls succeed in their education, and in life. We support needs as they are defined by our local partners who live and work in the communities they serve. The programs we support were designed with the involvement of adolescent girls, their peers, families and wider communities to ensure stakeholder participation.

Miracle League of Metro Denver is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in metro Denver that provides children and adults, who are living with various mental and/or physical challenges, an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. The league was founded in 2006 as Sports Made Possible. In 2017 we affiliated with The Miracle League, a nationwide adaptive baseball league, and renamed to Miracle League of Metro Denver.

We provide an amazing baseball experience to participants of all ages with special needs and rely on the support of our community to offer this program.  MLMD baseball games are played at Jason Jenning adaptive field at the Schaefer Athletic Complex and Valverde Park in Denver. The Jason Jenning field has a SYNTHETIC SURFACE endorsed by the ADA and U.S. Paralympic Committee. This is the only adaptive field of its kind in Colorado.  Volunteer buddies, coaches, and team parents assist athletes in recreational and competitive leagues. Volunteers have an interest in helping others realize their dreams. As a result, the athletes, parents and volunteers are all brought together in this program.  General information. registration, and volunteer registration information can be found at

The Rocky Mountain Honor Flight is a Denver Colorado-based non-profit organization formed in 2007. Our goal is to fly every able and willing Veteran to Washington D.C. to visit the monuments and memorials dedicated to their service. Our priority is with World War II and terminally ill Veterans; we also invite Veterans from the Korean War and Vietnam War and accept applications from all Veterans, including Veterans with disabilities.  Currently we fly four (4) flights per year in April, May, September and October escorting 30 Veterans on each flight for three (3) days each trip.  The Veterans pay absolutely nothing to go on a trip.  The average cost of a trip is approximately $60,000.
