2024 Media+Tech Collective
Innovation Challenge

The 2024 Media+Tech Innovation Challenge (formerly the Cable Apprentice) will be the 16th annual case competition of the Media+Tech Collective (or MTC, formerly known as the Rocky Mountain Cable Association or RMCA). The purpose of the case competition is to present real problems faced by telecommunications and media companies which helps students display their understanding of the industry, helps develop creative solutions, and sharpens their critical thinking skills. This experience not only teaches teamwork and collaboration but also creates networking opportunities, connects students with potential job opportunities, and helps partner companies find new talent. Traditionally, many participants of this competition have received internships and job offers and top teams are awarded cash prizes.

To compete, review the competition rules and eligibility and submit the completed application form along with resumes of each team member via the Online Application Form or via email to [email protected] by January 26, 2024. No entry fee required.

The case study will be released by January 26th, with the preliminary rounds of competition held on the dates below, and the final competition slated to be held on Friday, March 8th.
