DENVER – June 22, 2022 – Bennie Fowler, Leadership Coach and Superbowl 50 Champion, spoke at The Cable Center on Wednesday, June 22 to a rapt audience of new and veteran Media+Tech Collective members. Attendees had the evening to mix and mingle while enjoying the history of the Cable Hall of Fame.

Annually, the MTC hosts a membership mixer to welcome new members and to allow all members to share ideas, collaborate, and get to know each other. These mixers act as one of many ways to unite our industry's many parts in order to create comradery and friendship. We often bring in profound speakers such as Benny Fowler and Diane Christman to inspire, motivate, and educate.

DENVER – March 11, 2022 - “Team InnOvention,” a business school student team from the University of Colorado – Denver Business School was named the grand prize winner of the 2022 Media+Tech Innovation Challenge. The 16th annual signature event for the Media+Tech Collective, an industry association dedicated to bringing together members from throughout the businesses of video entertainment and technology, was held earlier today at Comedy Works South in Greenwood Village, Colo.

Finalists were comprised of business school student teams selected from earlier campus case study competitions at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and the University of Colorado – Denver Business School. All three finalists in 2022 were from the University of Colorado – Denver Business School.

The students on “Team InnOvention” take home the grand prize of $3,000 - and $4,500 in total - for winning the case study competition. The 2022 Media+Tech Innovation Challenge was sponsored by the StreamTV Show, scheduled for June 6-8, 2022 in Denver.

SeriesFest Insiders Conversation with Austin Winsberg

SeriesFest Insiders Conversations virtual event May 5On May 5th, Media+Tech Collective partnered with SeriesFest to give our members free access to an exclusive conversation with Austin Winsberg, Creator of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. This virtual event was part of SeriesFest’s new Insider Conversations and was moderated by SeriesFest co-Founder Kaily Smith Westbrook.

Austin shared his stories of starting as a child actor and young playwright, a Theater-major in college, launching his career as showrunner in his 20’s, and other experiences that brought him to this exciting time in his career. Attendees were able to go on screen and get Austin’s advice on topics such as playwriting and pitching a show.

After the conversation, the audience had the opportunity to join a 30-minute virtual networking session with the other attendees. Media+Tech Collective members can also access the previously recorded Insider Conversation with Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish as they discuss their latest STARZ project, Men In Kilts.
