It’s for this reason that we are excited to announce that September 18th will officially mark the inaugural celebration of Women in Tech Day! This day will be dedicated to spreading awareness, increasing involvement, and celebrating women across the industry.
 
We have three inspiring women leaders who will be speaking more about their experience in the IT industry, how they have progressed their careers, advice for those looking to get into or grow their careers in IT and a Q&A session.
 
Kim Carroll is Group Vice President, Technical Delivery, Product & Technology, for Charter Communications. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Kim possesses a unique ability to consider the cross-functional impacts of a technology solution while maintaining a balance between strategic thinking and operational execution.
 
In her current role, Kim drives the technical delivery of large-scale, technical deployments with a focus on quality and velocity.  Her focus areas include identifying technical execution areas of improvement, such as common and consistent practices and processes throughout the organization and proposing opportunities for further refinement and streamlining.
 
Kim joined Charter in 2009 as a Director of Product Management, where she oversaw product deployment efforts for strategic and cross-functional launches with an emphasis on operational readiness and ensuring a positive customer experience. Prior to Charter, Kim spent 10 years with Qwest Communications in product management roles of increasing responsibility. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Betsy alum, as a member of BMLI Class 39 and a participant in the Betsy Magness Graduate Institute (BMGI) in 2021.
Andrea Denis is the Director of the Program Management Office in Technology Services for the City and County of Denver. She leads a team that is responsible for the analysis, planning, and successful execution of complex and innovative technology projects across 55 City Agency clients. Andrea has diverse experience in leadership, strategic planning, change management, business process reengineering, project management, policy analysis, operational improvement and redesign, and organizational assessment and development.  Previous to her time at the City, Andrea held management consultant positions with Deloitte and Istonish, Inc. as well as Director roles with several State of Florida agencies. 
      
Stephanie Trotter is the Senior Vice President, Cloud Technologies at Comcast Cable. She leads the Comcast Cloud & Infrastructure Technology organization, which is responsible for executing on the company's multi cloud strategy across Public and Private Cloud, including the engineering, technical operations, governance, product and FinOps. Stephanie and her team partners with multiple providers to drive cloud adoption as part of Comcast digital transformation.
